It’s been quite a year –
2020. While it’s almost over and we the peoples are standing and
fighting, trying to stay safe and aware, World Human Dimension is pleased to
announce another special zoom panel discussion on pandemic we’ve met this time
and the ones we used to meet before. A zoom panel is to happen during the last
ten days of 2020.

WHD team is delighted to
mention that our previous Zoom workshop linked to World Human Dimension donation program “An
international action to help disabled and senior citizens during COVID-19” proved to be very popular. Launched under the aegis of WHD and aimed to inform on the UN Volunteering programs, it raised enough to help several dozens of
disabled and seniors in a number of rural regions. Now we are ready to keep on.
We are quite excited to
mention that our panel is to be based on historical documents and archives. Though being
quite unlike the others, for the United Nations this Corona pandemic is definitely
not the first severe enemy to fight with.

Our speakers are as follows:
Ms. Karina Mukoseeva, a
documentary filmmaker and a prolific author of a number of non-fictional novels
is to speak on a terrifying pandemic by the name of Cholera she has been
through while in Nigeria more than 40 years ago.
Mr. Alexander N. Titov, WHD President, former United Nations employee for more than 20 years is to tell about an unspoken evil of another pandemic of West Africa during the
early 80s: the Malaria.
During our zoom session we hope to learn and to open the historical bounds talking to people who had been through a lot in terms of fighting with the most dangerous diseases of the 20th century. Now they are ready to share their experience and to encourage the Youth to stay safe and healthy.
